About You:
We're looking for someone with a background in mining and technology who can effectively communicate and engage with a wide range of professionals, from engineers to the mining crew. Enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to learn and discuss the autonomy system, hardware, and software are essential. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- 3-5 years minimum in the mining or technology sector, and ideally experience in a FIFO role.
- Preferred backgrounds include mechanical, electrical, testing or communications fields.
- Networking and communications experience.
- Operational technology (IT/OT) experience.
- Testing experience in the mining industry.
- Any experience in DevOps or as a system administrator.
- Strong charisma and communication skills.
- Ability to discuss technical and operational aspects with engineers and mining crew in an engaging and informative manner.
- Daily planning and communication with both US and AUS teams.
- Conducting risk assessments.
- Maintaining team alignment and motivation.
- Leading the installation of the client's software and technology.
- Managing both technical and operational personnel on site.
- Compensation: Up to $145k + Super
