If you’ve been dreaming of expanding your DevOps / Cloud career, this could be for you. Currently assisting our client in the expansion of their team, Verse Group are on the lookout for a Senior DevOps / Cloud engineer who possesses extensive Public Cloud knowledge, to join our client’s team.

Reporting to the DevOps / Cloud Engineering manager, and based out of their Perth office, this role will empower the right candidate to create, manage and optimise our client’s cloud platform, having the opportunity to design and drive continuous improvement and continuous deployment. You will:

Constantly think outside of the box, breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems
Possess a strong and solid understanding of Cloud engineering fundamentals, with hands-on experience driving operational excellence
Troubleshoot complex issues
Play a mentoring role in providing technical assistance to the engineers across the business.

If this has piqued your interest, you will ideally have:

Extensive experience across a public cloud environment (AWS and Azure) in an agile environment
Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines with GitHub or GitHub Actions
Containerisation experience, ideally with Docker or OpenShift
Proven experience in logging & monitoring with CloudWatch
Proven experience using Ansible or Python for automating repetitive tasks
Knowledge and experience with Terraform for IaC
