Join the Technology Automation Team at one of WA’s most recognisable names in the FMCG industry, working alongside the Production & Engineering Teams to maintain the manufacturing control systems and operational technology.
- Permanent, full-time opportunity
- $70-120k + super, depending on experience
- Work across their two manufacturing sites – NOR & Bunbury / Australind region
- Flexible working hours and occasional on call requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, monitor and maintain all Control System hardware, software and devices.
- Assist with configuration, development and monitoring of automation solutions.
- Work with a team of automation engineers to translate business processes into actionable automation controls.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and design patterns to drive standardisation of automation across manufacturing equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Operations.
- Work with Operations to develop Business Continuity Processes & provide electrical, mechanical and automation assistance during breakdowns.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Full working rights in Australia – this role offers NO Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance & your application will not be considered!
- Electrical trade qualified with unrestricted electrical licence, Degree in Electrical Engineering / Process Control Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with the following:
- Programmable logic controllers (PLC) – Schneider, AB, OMRON, Siemens
- Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) – Schneider, AB, OMRON, Siemens
- Citect SCADA
- Servo Drives
- Communication systems
- Instrumentation
Non-essentials, but highly desirable:
- Previous experience working in FMCG or Manufacturing / Industrial
- Skills in maintaining Automated processes
- Extensive experience as a breakdown / shift Electrician in a production environment with proven problem solving skills under pressure
