There are multiple positions available due to natural growth of the company, and no previous tech experience is required! Our client is also looking for LV, HD & HME Mechanics that have previous mine site / FIFO experience and are keen on entering the Autonomous space.
These are permanent, full-time roles, but instead of serving a probationary period they will bring you on as a contractor for 6 months and then transition across to an FTE.
Pay breakdown:
$60/hr + super for Perth based work
$68/hr + super for site based work
On an 8:6 roster with 12 hour days, your base annual income will be $170k + super
Initially, you’ll be based out of the Perth workshop for training (roughly 4 weeks), before heading to different client sites, working on the projects that their clients are undertaking.
There are multiple FIFO rosters available – 8:6, 2:2, 2:1 – with the most common being 8:6. These will be determined off of which client site you’re based at and could change depending on what projects you’re working on. The exciting part is that no two days are the same in this role – there’s a wide variety of work with cutting edge technology!
Now let’s talk about experience. Ideally, you will possess:
- Current & unrestricted working rights in Australia – no sponsorship available
- Previous Mine site / FIFO experience
- Trade certification in LV, HD or HME or relevant experience in a similar AHS role
- Termination experience
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol screenings
- Must be a self-starter and someone that can work well with others
- White card
