I'm currently working with a very well-respected name in their field on their hunt for a Senior System Engineer to join their team on a full time basis!
With their clientele reaching far and wide (hello, international clients!) this organisation is all about growth and development, and building their employees skillset throughout their career, leaving no stone unturned to ensure the best development for both the business and the staff alike.
In this role, your day-to-day will look a little something like this –
- Providing escalation assistance to the junior members of the team
- Backup and dashboard maintenance
- Set up and maintenance of networks, including LAN, WAN, VLAN
- Some solution architecture and design
- Configure, support and provide some administration services in the space of software, networking and hardware.
- Manage and actively contribute to the work of new deployments. Upgrades and migrations
Ideally, you will possess:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within a Level 2/3 System Engineer role (mandatory)
- Proven experience working with various servers and infrastructure (including MS Exchange Servers, MS Windows Servers and Azure Solutions) in both an on prem and cloud infrastructure environment
- Hyper V virtualisation experience
- The ability to mentor junior team members.
- Microsoft Certified Professional (Advanced) certification in the area of Infrastructure, or an Azure Certification, are highly desirable but not required.
- Networking experience is highly desirable (LAN, WAN, VLAN)
