Reporting to the DevOps / Cloud Engineering manager, and based out of their Perth office, this role will empower the right candidate to create, manage and optimise our client’s cloud platform, having the opportunity to design and drive continuous improvement and continuous deployment. You will:
- Constantly think outside of the box, breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems
- Possess a strong and solid understanding of Cloud engineering fundamentals, with hands-on experience driving operational excellence
- Troubleshoot complex issues
- Play a mentoring role in providing technical assistance to the engineers across the business.
- Extensive experience across a public cloud environment (AWS and Azure) in an agile environment
- Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines with GitHub or GitHub Actions
- Containerisation experience, ideally with Docker or OpenShift
- Proven experience in logging & monitoring with CloudWatch
- Proven experience using Ansible or Python for automating repetitive tasks
- Knowledge and experience with Terraform for IaC
