About the role:
- 12 month contract, likely to be extended
- FIFO to Pilbara, only considering WA residents
- 2:2 roster – 12hr shifts
- Up to $110/hr + super ($269k annual package)
- Global tier 1 mining, energy & technology company
Key responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware, electrical, and network technology systems on various Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) assets
- Calibrate and commission GPS, AHS, and fleet systems on various HME and Light Vehicle (LV) assets
- Optimise the setup of the fleet management system to maximise fleet efficiency and meet Mine Plan requirements
- Perform fault diagnosis and repairs on multiple technology products including but not limited Fortex and Flanders
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician, Automotive HD Fitter, or in Communications Technology
- Experience in a heavy mobile mining environment with related technology
- Experience with Autonomous Fleet management products
- Experience with Caterpillar and Liebherr Mining equipment
- Experience with Flanders technology products (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical specifications
