System Engineer - Tier 1 (Fleet Management & Autonomy)
THE ROLE
As a Systems Engineer, you will be a key stakeholder in the development, implementation and delivery of both autonomy and energy related projects, while mentoring and developing the junior team members, aiding in the development of brilliant minds.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- The delivery of system design interfaces, specifications and procedures, in the agreed format.
- Analysing and defining system requirements for autonomy and energy related systems
- Assisting in the delivery of design and verification of both software and hardware components for autonomous systems
$100 - $120/hour + Super
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Our client is searching for a specialized skillset, who has previously had experience in a role like this or similar. To be successful in this role, you will hold the following:
- 5+ years of experience in a related systems engineering role
- Experience with SysML or other modelling frameworks
- A strong understanding of control theory, safety in design and security in design, and systems engineering principles/methodologies
- Proven experience in developing N2 charts, mapping out system interactions
- A good understanding of embedded systems, real time operating systems and communication protocols
